North Jakarta Holds Psychology Training for Children

North Jakarta Administration together with Psikologi Peduli Community held psychology training using Coaching Game Party method with point of you approach. This training involved 100 members of North Jakarta Children Forum in order to instill nationalism and patriotism characters from an early age.

North Jakarta Mayor, Sigit Wijatmoko stated, North Jakarta Empowerment, Children Protection, and Population Control (PPAPP) Sub-department collaborates with Psikologi Peduli Community to encourage millennial generation to understand the portrait of digital life but still comprehend the nationalist and patriotic characteristics of the nation.

"Technology is everywhere. But, it is important for every child to have a strong cultural character. Such as nationalism, patriotism, and spirit of mutual cooperation," he said, Thursday (10/24).

His side hopes there will be more volunteers who cares about character building for millennial generation in the future. Thus, later North Jakarta children can carry out the task as the next generation of this nation.

"It is not only improve North Jakarta's achievement as the Children-Friendly City, but how to build children characters as the next generation of our nation," he asserted.

Meanwhile, Psikologi Peduli Community Leader, Indah Prestyonawati explained, through this event, her side wants to encourage children to explore their potentials through points of you method.

"We also provide free consultation service for parents who need psychologist to solve their problems," she said.
